Grrrl Power magazine was set up because there are so many samey, boring women's magazines being sold to the public. The editor didn't want to read that crap any more - so she set up her own magazine. 

The editor, Jessica Allen, is a Journalism student coming to the end of her studies at Coventry University. 

Various women have donated their work and time to the project so far.And of good reason, too - all profits from the first issue will be donated to Rape Crisis. 

Depending on how successful the first issue is, more issues may be created and printed in the future, but there are no promises!
